Monday, 26th January 01:00 PM IST Director R Balki says that 'Shamitabh', starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and debutante Akshara Haasan, has an unconventional story. And from what we hear, the film's songs too, are rather unconventional. In an interesting move, the director has shot a romantic track in the most exotic restrooms of Lapland in Finland. Since the temperature in the region was as low as minus eight degrees, the team couldn't stay there. The cast and crew used to travel to Lapland and back everyday for a week to complete filming. It's said to be the first film that has been shot in this destination, which is also known as 'The Land of Santa Claus'. Says Balki, "The song is all about how a gentleman serenades his ladylove by showing her the world's most exotic loos. It has been shot across locations like the Arctic Circle and Lapland. It was challenging to shoot in the region." 'Shamitabh', produced by Eros International and Hope Productions, releases February 6. |
