Monday, 15th Sept 2014, 1:56 PM IST Emraan Hashmi’s last film ‘Raja Natwarlal’ didn’t do any wonders at the box-office. However, the actor is currently riding high with the praises his debut Hollywood film ‘Tigers’ is getting. ‘Tigers’ is a true story based on the life of a salesman, Syed Aamir Raza. The movie was recently screened at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the director of the film Danis Tanovic has said that the film will be releasing in India in January 2015. Talking about the film, Emraan Hahmi said, “It is a global project with Indian and foreign cast and crew, directed by a Bosnian, set in Pakistan, and filmed in four countries including Patiala in India." He also shared the experience of personally meeting Syed Aamir Raza. Emraan said, “We have had fabulous screenings and the reviews have been great; but for me, personally meeting Aamir and his family was the biggest high. I am so glad he liked the film and my portrayal of him. Aamir was the real tiger." Praising Emraan Aamir said, “It is a very powerful film which showed things exactly how they happened. Emraan has done a great job." |
